My approach to tutoring is to first find which specific area is causing each individual problems. Once we work on that area and master the concepts, I will then go back an work with each student to figure out a study strategy that will work for them long term. The goal is for them to be able to be successful on their own in their studies so they no longer need me! During my years at the University of New Haven, I earned a BS in Biology and a MS in secondary education. During my undergraduate work, I worked with other biology students to form a laboratory class for students from a private school which had no laboratory facilities. I possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. The first is writing extensive research papers and laboratory reports, and the second is due to extensive public speaking course work.
