I have experience teaching 2 years in a doctor's office (Vision therapy)I have kept children in my home (home day care) for over 5 years. I worked in a hospital setting for 5 years, clerical work. I have worked with children in my church (AWANA program)
I love teaching, especially elementary school. My experience in recent years has been mostly preschool or special education. I believe in letting children explore their world and learn through discovery. I have graduated from North Carolina State University and earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry. Coming from the influence of a family of educators, I realized early on my affinity towards teaching. In addition to my college degrees, I have been very involved in the 'summer camp' experience.
