I am 23 years old and strive for excellence constantly. I currently have two jobs and a child. I work hard for my family and make sure that I do my best in everything that is put in front of me. I have made it through high school and college. I have worked with younger children as well as older children. I like to be challenged and will learn with anyone and everyone I work with.
I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. As I continue to work with others I find their strengths and weaknesses and do the best I can to make the experience fun and as stress free as possible. I came to teaching as a second career when I realized I was not happy in local politics. I earned a degree in Secondary Education with English certification grades 5-12. I have taught in rural as well as urban schools and schools in between. I have a strong command of grammar and reading comprehension skills. I have lead students in debate teams as well.

I have two children of my own and understand that all people learn in their own way. I have proven success with helping children find the way to learn that works best for them. My #1 goal is to help each of my students reach his or her ultimate academic potential. Every student has the ability to succeed academically. I believe that children learn best when concepts can be taught/explained to them in their own terms.
