I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. As I continue to work with others I find their strengths and weaknesses and do the best I can to make the experience fun and as stress free as possible. I know that it can be tough learning new subjects, however, if you put your mind to it, there is always a way. I use games, activities and also outside projects to learn as much as possible.
I am 23 years old and strive for excellence constantly. I currently have two jobs and a child. I work hard for my family and make sure that I do my best in everything that is put in front of me. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with all children. During the past twenty years, I had the opportunity to work with very diverse students from kindergarten to 6th grade. Given the right instruction, I believe that all students can learn. As a reading specialist, I have seen students go from struggling readers to confident readers. By working with these students and seeing their lives change; I know I make a difference.

I have an affinity for foreign languages after growing up in Europe and the United States. I speak fluent Spanish as well as Swedish, my native tongue. I earned an undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Missouri-Columbia and then solidified my classroom abilities by earning a Master of Education from Rockhurst University.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to share my knowledge. I believe that everyone should have a chance to learn and get educated. I am patient, easy going but firm. I believe that anyone can improve with the appropriate surrounding and a desire to learn.
As a native French speaker who graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master in Urban Planning and a BA in Political Science. I have tutored students in French and English as a second language. Prior to obtaining my BA, I tutored high school students for a year in Kansas City. I can relate to students struggling to learn a language as I did when I started learning English, which turned out to be quite challenging for me. I decided to spend a year abroad and learn English as an exchange student
