I am 23 years old and strive for excellence constantly. I currently have two jobs and a child. I work hard for my family and make sure that I do my best in everything that is put in front of me. I have made it through high school and college. I have worked with younger children as well as older children. I like to be challenged and will learn with anyone and everyone I work with.
I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. I have an affinity for foreign languages after growing up in Europe and the United States. I speak fluent Spanish as well as Swedish, my native tongue. I earned an undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Missouri-Columbia and then solidified my classroom abilities by earning a Master of Education from Rockhurst University.

I have two children of my own and understand that all people learn in their own way. I have proven success with helping children find the way to learn that works best for them. Spanish and teaching have always been passions of mine that I have been fortunate enough to make a career out of doing and using both. I have a bachelor's degree (BA) in Spanish with a teaching certificate and I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught for six years in the Northern Virginia area, Washington D.C. and in Independence, Missouri.
