A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is thinking a bit about sentences and what the students expects of them can help us to diagnose problems with style. The basics of style are very simple and can be distilled into one principle: a sentence, at its most basic level, is about actors and actions. As such, the subject of a sentence should point clearly to the actor, and the verb of the sentence should describe its important action.
I have some experiences with deaf and hearing impaired. My comments on tutoring Special Education : I am cerified in the state of North Carolina to teach learning disabled and mentally disabled students. I have a Master's degree in Special Education. I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Age isn't a factor in this pursuit, for no matter what age we can still have an impact. Building trust and rapport with students is vital. Being positive and uplifting is critical to the learning of students that are discouraged and have met with way too much negativity in their usual learning environments.
