Speaking is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style is interactive, many of my former students would characterize it as "coaching". I always empower the student to find their way and to have them become "pros" in the learning process. I do not do the work for them, but I show them how they can make their tasks and finishing them more efficient. I am a firm believer in the philosophy that edication is not preparation for life, it is life itself. Experience is key.
Over 13 years of working with students that were not scholars initially. After learning skills to improve their educational/learning experience, they became more scholarly, and enjoyed learning. This is key. They just need to change their perspective, and learn how to make "learning" enjoyable, like it was in kindergarden.

Working with students and education has been a part of my life for about 11 years. I first began doing so in high school, around 1999 working as a volunteer with the YMCA. A Little Bit About Me...

I had a wonderful experience attending MSMC.I learned a wide variety of skills and techniques throughout the Psychology teachings as well as about the intriguing study of Psychology itself. There were many opportunities to examine and research philosophies and perform actual research as a team. I had the experience of learning a long side other students, however, I did tutor other fellow classmates at various times throughout my educational career in many venues.

I have had substantive experience as a trained teacher of English and a Teacher Librarian. I was awarded the Best Teacher accolade for both areas of study when I graduated from the Mico Teachers College. The use of age appropriate instructional materials and classroom activity have aided in achieving success. My experience as a teacher has helped immensely in the many senior management roles that I have held since.
I am a dedicated teacher, as the old adage goes 'once a teacher, always a teacher'. I taught English Language and Grammar up to pre college level.
