Spanish is one of my top subjects! I studied abroad in Argentina for 1 year during my freshman year of undergraduate studies where I learned to speak the Spanish language with fluency as well as taking classes in Spanish grammar and vocabulary. Also during my undergraduate studies, I received a minor in Spanish and had another opportunity to study abroad for a summer in Honduras, where I learned about Honduran history and worked as a teacher assistant in a Honduran elementary school. I have also traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador working as a Spanish translator for mission trips with my local church. In addition to experiences abroad, I worked as a Spanish tutor for 3 years during my undergraduate studies helping students at all levels of Spanish classes, including College Spanish I-IV. I have used my Spanish proficiency as a translator for a free clinic near my undergraduate university as well as using the language in my current full time position as a Mental Health Counselor. I have taken classes in Spanish grammar, reading, writing, and literature and have a great deal of experience and proficiency in speaking the language as well.

I have a Bachelors of science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from North Greenville University as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have tutored homeschooled first and third graders in math, reading, writing, social studies, and art for the last 6 months. I tutored a 8-12-year-old with autism spectrum for 4 years. I have over three years experience teaching English as a Second Language. I completed two full years teaching English in Namibia. Tutored on TutorSelect.come before a few years back and successfully tutored over ten individual students as well as a couple of group sessions with in between 2 and 4 students. All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics. I've taken Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, all three college Calculus courses, and Differential Equations.
