A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Education. I will be graduating this fall. Fall of 2014 I spent the semester tutoring a 12 y.o. girl in the English Language. This meant reading stories and answering questions about them, going over vocabulary, and learning new concepts. My comments on tutoring Poetry : I love writing poetry and truly enjoy reading poetry as well.I have experience in writing my own poetry for the stage as well as other creative writing outlets. I would love to help someone find their voice within the realms of poetic fodder and see just how creative they don't even know they are! :)

I don't like to tell you what to learn, but rather guide you to see it for yourself, allowing you to come to the right conclusion on your own. Helping you teach yourself, so that when the time comes for that test or that epic paper, you will know you can do it because you know it.

It is important for students to memorize facts, however, so I focus on memorization techniques and organization.
