Throughout my career as a student, I have always prided myself on the ability to help others learn. When I was a high school student, I was the one other students would come to with questions, and I always gave an answer with confidence. Then I got to college and began to study Biology. I was so amazed at the broad spectrum of the sciences, that I decided to add a Chemistry component to my college degree. Through Chemistry I could better understand Biology. Both teaching assignments included: grading homework/test papers and providing office hours for students to visit me and go over problem solving. The chemistry class required me to actually be the teacher for 30 students each semester.
