Latin is one of my top subjects! I took three years of Latin in high school, and I am currently in my third semester in college.

I try to use various activities and techniques when teaching to keep students interested. This also helps them (and me) to determine the way(s) that they learn best. I also like to ask the students first what they think the answer is or how a problem should be approached before feeding them a solution. I encourage questioning and discussions at every turn. Overall, I want to create a friendly yet effective environment for optimal teaching and learning.
I am a second year student at the Universtiy of Georgia. I like working with high school students with a desire to learn. As a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol, working with the cadets was a pleasure. Their abilities ranged from marginal to excellent, but every cadet had a strong desire to learn and excel in every thing they did in Civil Air Patrol. We had several cadets go the military academies and become excellent officers and pilots.
Thirty five years experience in Information Technology with positions ranging from Programmer/Analyst to Consultant to Manager.
