28 years of tutoring for SAT. 15 years for ACT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, etc. I have devised unique guessing strategies for multiple choice tests that by themselves have significantly raised students' scores. I have gone to Paris, France, all expenses paid, to do an intense 2-week SAT prep session. I love what I do- every child is a unique individual to me, and tutoring is what I am born to do. I have taught Spanish as well as tutored people in Spanish, music (guitar) and English composition. Also, I have some experience with teaching English as a Second Language. I taught beginning level Spanish to 8-12 graders for one year. I have tutored three different individuals in music (guitar) and love helping people to find out how to be creative in their pursuit of music. After receiving my masters in 2005, I went on to work in public accounting for 5 years where I gained experience as an auditor working for a Big 4 CPA firm. Part of my job responsibilities were to develop and coach new staff while on the job. This requires teaching them how to apply their accounting knowledge learned school as well as teaching them accounting principals that were both new or forgotten. I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms.
