I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. In addition, I like to engage those I teach, challenging them to think about what they previously have not considered. My goal in attending the University of Tennessee was initially for the purpose of doing research; this led me to pursue a BS in BCMB.I began volunteering with middle school,high school,and college students at my church in 2005,which revealed to me my love of working with students this age.Over the past five years, I have tutored students in math and science,from fifth grade math to college-level chemistry. I have a BS in Cybernetics Engineering. As an engineer, my knowledge of math and physics is high. As a student I solved so many operations involving calculus that I memorized the formulas and used them as fast as the multiplication tables. I am a native Spanish speaker. I was trained as a language teacher by Berlitz, one of the best language centers in the world. I have a certificate in Drama. I worked for a private elementary school as a drama teacher for 2 years.
