I try to adapt my style to the needs of the student so I can teach in many different ways. I have tutored many people of various ages, past students have been as young as 5 and as old as 17. I am 18 years old but am highly skilled in the area of mathematics having taken 8 math classes above Algebra 1. I like to teach and I also like to hear how people learn. I like to relate the subject matter to something that the student enjoys so it is easier for them to grasp. I do try to get students to make discoveries for themselves so that they retain the information longer. By taking the time to step through each math problem, the student learns the theory (Algebra, geometry, etc) as well as the solution.
