My comments on tutoring Drawing : I have been teaching Fine Art (Drawing , Painting and Art History) in a private homeschool program and in my home for 18 years . Drawing is one of my top subjects! I have been drawing and sketching for 19 years and taught an elementary-middle school art class. Portfolio available upon request of digital, traditional,and acrylic work.

I am a highscool graduate and am currently taking college classes. I have tutored many elementary age students in elementary subject areas; especially literature, writing, grammar, art, and music. I have tutored high school age students in music and art. I have also tutored middle school age students in music and art.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring in a public area. I am a fun , encouraging tutor in the elementary subject areas; and am enthusiastic about art and music for all ages. I prefer an encouraging approach with lots of rewards and positive feedback; and if things get too rough, I change my style up a bit to accomodate the student's needs.

I am not a teacher however, I do have 3 children ages 10, 11 and 12. They are very smart and all have been on the Principals list for the past 3 years. I'm patient, kind and understanding that children often times get frustrated. I take education very seriously and I want everyone to succeed. My goal is to give back to the community and this is my way by educating our future leaders of America.
As a recent MBA graduate, I would like to apply some of the things learned during my studies into helping others in their area of weakness. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past ten years, I have been teaching High School English. I have taught grades 9-12 in Literature, Composition and Standards of Learning in preparation for the state exams. I have taught inclusion classes involving students with numerous learning styles and have always met and exceeded the expectations of their parents.
I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed. I make the learning relevant to what the child is interested in or knows about so that he/she can be more engaged in the learning process. We set the goal-a reasonable one yet with high expectations and together we achieve it.
