Drawing is one of my top subjects! I have been drawing and sketching for 19 years and taught an elementary-middle school art class. Portfolio available upon request of digital, traditional,and acrylic work.

I am a highscool graduate and am currently taking college classes. I have tutored many elementary age students in elementary subject areas; especially literature, writing, grammar, art, and music. I have tutored high school age students in music and art. I have also tutored middle school age students in music and art.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring in a public area. I am a fun , encouraging tutor in the elementary subject areas; and am enthusiastic about art and music for all ages. I prefer an encouraging approach with lots of rewards and positive feedback; and if things get too rough, I change my style up a bit to accomodate the student's needs.

My comments on tutoring Drawing : I have been teaching Fine Art (Drawing , Painting and Art History) in a private homeschool program and in my home for 18 years . I have been teaching Art and French in a private Homeschool Program for 18 years . My Art classes have included Drawing 1, Drawing 2, Painting, Combined media, and Advanced Portfolio Classes. I have taught younger children, starting at the age of 5 both Art and french as well as adults. In the program where I teach, I have primarily taught high school French levels 1-4. I lived outside of Lausanne Switzerland with a family that did not speak English when I was 17 and became fluent in French. I also studied French and Art while living in Paris, France my junior year of college. I lived with a French family and worked as their au pair . For the past ten years, I have been teaching High School English. I have taught grades 9-12 in Literature, Composition and Standards of Learning in preparation for the state exams. I have taught inclusion classes involving students with numerous learning styles and have always met and exceeded the expectations of their parents.
I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed.
