I worked for Panther Academic Support Services at UW Milwaukee from Sept 2007 to May 2011. I tutored students individually and in group settings in math and science courses. I have worked with students from all academic backgrounds. I began tutoring algebra to incoming freshmen. I tutored calculus to business students and I tutored physics to students studying health science. I have found that it takes multiple ways of presenting a topic for students to have a expert grasp of the subject.

As a biochemistry undergraduate student, I was selected to be an organic chemistry workshop leader. As a workshop leader, I meet with students on a weekly basis to complete difficult organic chemistry problems and answer any questions that they may have. In addition to the workshops, I was also asked to be a teaching assistant. Throughout my education, I've found that broad academic interests have led me to pursue a wide range of subjects simultaneously. My undergraduate degree is a double major in music and comparative religion, and my other coursework ranged from astronomy to constitutional law.
