I am currently working with the Lee County School district as reading tutor. I tutor elementary and middle school. Prior to this I taught freshmen orientation (freshmen skills) to freshmen with the City University Of New York (CUNY) at Hostos Community College. as a professor I have assisted my students with writing skills. In addition I was in charge of the probation students and have assisted them with their poor writing skills. I was a Mentor and helped my mentees with English deficiencies. Although I was not employed as a tutor, as a student advocate, I have always "tutored" students who needed this assistance to remain in good academic standing.
