As a recipient of an Associates Degree Summa Cum Laude; I have and more importantly my students have experienced success within and outside of the classroom. Twenty-one out of twenty-four 4th graders under my tutelage increased MAP scores by over 20 points on average when the objective was just for 8 points. My proficiency in instructing in reading, writing, English Language Arts, and comprehension led to me being entrusted with conducting an enrichment program at my school over 1,300 students that led to me receiving 2 awards of Excellence of Service Award and Paraprofessional of the Month. My PLT scores were in the top 15% with 190 out of 200 that led to a Recognition of Excellence Certificate indicating this proficiency.

A Little Bit About Me...

I currently am employed by the Chatham County School System as a long term substitute and as a Math Resource teacher. I was picked up this years by East Broad Elementary School to help many students to pass the CRCT. I have references letters from the Principals and several math teachers at the same school. I amd will soon be graduating from Armstrong Atlantic with a Masters of Art and Teaching, with concentrations in Math and Science Middle Grades. During the past few years I decided to change career paths and work with children on the educational level.
My teaching style, is to find the way the child learns best. Math can be taught thru several different methods or strategies. I graduated from University of Georgia with a degree in Public Health with emphasis in Microbiology, Chemistry and Statistics. I have a passion to help and increase level of literacy and way of living. Throughout High School I worked at Kumon Math and Reading Tutoring. In college I worked for UGA in the Division of Academic Enhancement tutoring Statistics and Algebra.
