I love learning how students learn to help me understand how to individualize teaching for each student. Developing a trusting relationship is key when tutoring. My definition of tutoring is creating a question friendly environment, in which, I, as the tutor, ask the students questions to gain an understanding of the specific concepts that challenge the student, and the student asks me questions to gain a deeper understanding of the material.
