A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is dependent on the student. With some students I find that they just need initial guidance from me before I let them be independent with their assignments. With other students I have found that they need me to hold their hand, so to speak, during the whole process. When that is the case I make sure that the student does not feel inadequate by having me walk them through each assignment. Since I am a graduate student I also implement various ways I learn with the students I teach. I will use auditory and visual modalities of teaching in order to help them develop various senses while they learn.

As a life long athlete, I understand the importance of a team. Parents, tutors, and children must work together to succeed. I also realize the importance of strategy; each team has a different method to achieve their goal. Be it verbal, visual, audial, physical, there are multitudes of different ways to have success inside and outside of the classroom.
