Over the years I have created works of art using nearly every type of paint and painting technique available. My two favorite ways to paint are with watercolors and digitaly through the use of computer programs like adobe photoshop. I have been drawing and creating art for a long as I can remember and it has always filled me with joy and been a true passion in my life. Now, with a BFA in Fine Art, and three plus years working in the commercial art field I have turned this passion into a career choice. As an early childhood teacher, I have had several opportunities to help children (school age), to do homework. I also was a tutor in high school to a boy for just Algebra, which then turned around to being all of his subjects and helping him keep on track. The hardest thing for me was that he had only lived in the U.S. for four years, and had trouble speaking English. After each session of tutoring, I would grab the Scrabble board, which encouraged him to use more words, learn new words, and have fun while doing so. I like to get to the point of certain problems, such as reading the child/student when I see them, ask them some questions about the subjects they need help in and why they need help. I have worked with Infants-School age for over 5 years, and enjoy being there to help someone in need. I believe in giving back, because so many of us are blessed already.
