My teaching style consists of various things. First and foremost, I believe that all children can and will learn. When given the appropriate resources and materials, a safe and nuturing envirmonment and an individual capable and ready to teach the whole child success will then manifest.
I am currently in my 7th year as an Exceptional Children's Teacher. I have been an educator for 28 years, so obviously, I love what I do! My teaching style is to make each of my students understand the "why" of the siutaion. If a person(child or adult) understands why something is supposed to happen, then often the pieces will fall into place, especially in the math arena. I believe that all students can learn. I try to make learning as fun, facinating, and relevant as possible. I am very patient, goal oriented, and want nothing more than for all of my students to reach and feel success.
