As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language. My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.

Over the years, I have been involved in a number of different teaching and volunteer programs including Junior Achievement and 4-H. I enjoy learning new things and sharing what I've learned with others. My background includes a variety of different jobs including retail management, the military and banking. I enjoy helping others learn. Something in which I have always excelled is helping them look at learning something from another view point than they have been. Learning in a hands-on manner using real life situations is the best manner in teaching any subject to a student.

I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute,a college that prides itself in a rigorous curriculum with a strong emphasis on projects that its students prepare for a real world experience. WPI’s fast paced 7 week terms helped me learn time management skills, self teaching, and working in groups. I have earned a BS in chemistry with a focus on organic synthesis, as well as a concentration in history, specifically the history technology. The projects I completed include creating and analyzing a new organic compound, traveling to Africa to research Roman water technology, and working at the Tower of London Museum to research visitor satisfaction. During the past two years I have worked as a chemistry and math tutor. I am passionate about chemistry and history, and I always enjoy helping students in these fields. I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography. I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
