Hi everyone, I was born and grew up in Austria, and my native language is German. In order to improve my English, I spent ten months as an au pair in Minnesota, and in August 2010, I moved to Minneapolis. Learning a second language can be hard and I think the best way to learn a new language is to listen, speak, and read it as much as possible. My comments on tutoring German : I am proficient in German, having taken the equivalent to 4 semesters of the language in College.

I work hands-on, using examples. However, I am readily able to adjust to new learning styles!
I have taken creative writing and journalism courses. I have experience in the journalism field, and won an award for one of my stories. I have also done much writing on my own, including writing a full-length novel (in the works of being edited with hopes of publication). I am an avid reader and my reading comprehension/writing scores on tests have always been well above average.
