My comments on tutoring German : I'm from Austria and I'm a Native German Speaker.

Hi everyone, I was born and grew up in Austria, and my native language is German. In order to improve my English, I spent ten months as an au pair in Minnesota, and in August 2010, I moved to Minneapolis. Learning a second language can be hard and I think the best way to learn a new language is to listen, speak, and read it as much as possible. My experience includes my knowledge of German simply through daily usage. I didn't study the German language, but I tutor for over 3 years and I thought and learned a lot about the German Grammar.I will be able to help with expanding your conversation skills and increasing your German vocabulary.

My mother language is French. I studied German for 8 years and went to Germany to improve my skills. I studied English for 5 years, went to England and passed the Cambridge Proficiency Diploma. I have lived in France, Switzerland, Germany and England before moving to the States and been travelling extensively. I have taught French to adults evening classes in the German part of Switzerland. Last year I was a long-term full time French sub-teacher at the International School of Minnesota for a wide range of students, PS till HS. I am still a sub-teacher at that school. I am very patient and do no mind repeating things or explaining them in another way that the student understands. In my Spanish classes, I would often lead study groups of several students.
