A Little Bit About Me...

I would like to share my experience with the people I teach on how to use many of the short cuts in both math and physics for a better understanding of the topics covered. Also I encourage students to do as many practice problems as possible; I believe with enough practice, everyone can become experts even at the difficult topics.
The education that I have received in Biology and Chemistry enabled me to develop excellent skills not only in many of the life sciences and physics but also math. I've always been really good with the sciences and ever since I can remember would help my classmates. I have volunteered to tutor biology and chemistry in college for almost 3 years. As a recreation major, I have held a number of jobs working with children of all ages. My first job as a lifeguard and swim instructor helped me understand how to work with children ages three to fifteen and really get a feel for how their brains operate and the proper learning styles to use for each age. Moving on to my job as a camp counselor and staff member at 4-H Memorial Camp in Monticello I really started to familiarize myself with young adults and the way they behave in different settings.
