Algebra II Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Collins, MO

I recently moved here from California. I have tutored fellow students in high school in Rhode Island, a child, grandchildren, and also tutored folks in California ranging in age from 13-30 in all types of math during the last ten years. Though I do not have a certificate, I plan on getting a temporary certificate in the next few months. I use a variety of methods such as graphically (visual), practice examples (tactile, repetition), repeating the rules/methods (aural) and occasional humor to help things stick!

Obtained in my last job, showing an individual a three step process when learning something new. First would be to show and instruct on the basic level. Then after I felt the individual had grasped the knowledge, have them repeat the knowledge back with minimal assistance. Once the individual has completed an appropriate amount of the new task with the assistance of then instructor, they would then complete or demonstrate the task back to the instructor with no help at all. If they provide the correct answer or demonstrate the correct knowledge, they have completed the required learning.
