Experience Summary
I recently completed my Master of Business Administration (Finance), during which time I had the opportunity to work as a graduate assistant and tutor students in math.I had the privilege of working with students of all ages with diverse needs in mathematics.These experiences ignited a passion in me for teaching students and a greater love for my favorite subject, mathematics. Instead of pursuing a career in business or finance I decided to pursue teaching and was recently licensed by the State of Missouri with an Initial Professional Certificate to teach Mathematics for grades 9-12.
Teaching Style
As an aspiring educator in the field of mathematics, my goal is to be able to use standardized assessments to gain an understanding of the student’s strengths and weaknesses and use discernment to create a differentiated approach to aid the learning process.My passion for being a mathematics teacher has the ulterior motive of being an unforgettable positive influence in the lives of my students.
