A Little Bit About Me...

Over the past ten years, I have worked for four school districts providing after-school tutoring to students with a learning disability. I have worked with all subject matters from preschool thru fifth grade. I have tutored my niece, nephew and cousin's children all thru elementary school. I have extensive experience in breaking down a skill and teaching it in smaller, more manageable pieces.
I enjoy working with children, waiting for the "ah ha" moment to arrive. When it does, there is nothing, like it. I believe strongly in the saying "there are no bad students, only bad teachers". I believe that every student is capable of learning, the trick is to find a way that makes it real and applicable to each individual student.
