I am a former social worker, "turned teacher".

I use lesson plans and schedules left by the teacher, as well as textbooks and other materials like workbooks which are familiar to the children. I leave a written synopsis of the day for the teacher, including notes on behavioral issues or good/helpful behaviors.
I am a former social worker, "turned teacher". I returned to school in 1998 to "recycle myself" and finished an M.A. in 2000. I did not continue, to become a fully credentialed teacher. I have had 8 years + experience as a substitute teacher, in high school, middle school and elementary school.
