I have played the guitar for 43 years. My influences are; bossa nova, spanish flamenco and easy listening jazz. For the last 10 years I have played professionally as the guitar duo of "Martin and Vargas".

I have a deep passion in what I enjoy doing and I wish to help others learn from my knowledge and skills that I have developed during all my years of playing the guitar. In addition to playing the guitar, I have been a certified lifeguard for 17 years. I was certified lifeguard instructor for 7 years of these years; teaching CPR, First Aid, Basic Lifeguarding and Waterfront Rescue Training. The majority of my students were High School Students.
