My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : As a high school student many years ago I elected to follow a typing course which proved to be of unexpectedly great value throughout many of my professional associations. In these modern times expert typing has become essential due to technological advances. I feel quite qualified to offer instruction so as to provide students with this extremely important mode of communication. I type accurately at a quite satisfactory rate.

In my teaching, I make every effort to engage the attention of my students. While covering the subject at hand, I bring into my lessons references to a spectrum of other subjects when relevant such as historical context, cultural elements, literary allusions, modern and historical implications and facts and trivia relating to the subject which I believe will not only be of interest to the student but will also provide a more rounded appreciation of the benefits of a wide ranging education.

I was an elementary education major for 2.5 years before following my specific passion to writing and literature in my Junior year to finish up school. There is not one teaching style that works for everyone. Making the subjects fun and exciting is a great way to get the students engaged. Everyone has different ways of learning and finding that niche will enable that student to be confident when it comes to learning anything.
