My comments on tutoring Study Skills : No matter which subject I was called upon to instruct I never failed to impart the importance of acquiring proficiency in study skills.

Study Skills is one of my top subjects! Learning to learn can be one of the toughest skills to master. I know a lot of different techniques that have worked for me and some of my students over the years and I'll gladly teach you what I can and invent new techniques if needed.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Art Institute in 2004 with top honors and a nomination for Best Demo Reel. I taught for a semester in 2004 at the Institute and went on to teach privately the the next two years (tutor). I became a photoshop trainer at work and an Art Director of a million dollar graphic design firm by 2007. I have flown to Cape Town in South Africa and Canberra in Australia to teach crash course photoshop seminars- up to 8 people with no computer experience at all. I have lead a team of 15 in photo editing for a professional studio and still teach privately today.
Hands on and detailed lecture. I talk fast, but I teach you to work fast as well. The hardest part of my lesson will be knowing when to put it down and call something finished. I love to laugh, be loud and have a great time. It's a joy to teach and I make sure it's a joy to learn as well.

I was an elementary education major for 2.5 years before following my specific passion to writing and literature in my Junior year to finish up school. I graduated with a 3.35 QPA from Slippery Rock University in May of 2015! I have completed reading instructional courses in K-6th elementary education as well as courses in literature and reading assessment. I also have experience working with many high-and-low-incidence disabilities such as children who are deaf or blind, have Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, or Aspberger's disorders as well.
