Professional but friendly English ESOL teacher

Teaching experience in class environments and one-to one is over 7 years. I'm one of those lucky ones who loves their profession! I'm a friendly but demanding tutor students feel comfortable to learn with. I also speak Russian, German, some Spanish and a little bit Italian. I tried a modern form of teaching in the beginning of 2011 - teaching online, it's very creative and convenient. If you live close, we can have lessons in person, at the library or at home.
Depending on the area we need to work, the focus of the lesson will vary, but more often my students need all four skills to develop (speaking, listening, writing and reading). A Little Bit About Me...

I would describe my teaching style as "facilitator" considering the fact that I am able to come up with questions that lead the students to finding the correct process and answers on their own.

I got the tools you need to succeed !

I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Learning to read and reading comprehension are vital skills for students to master in order to excel in all areas of learning.

I absolutely love teaching and working with children. Children learn in unique and individual ways and sometimes struggle in school work because they learn at a different pace than the class as a whole. Individual and small group instruction greatly benefits these children in many ways. They have a chance to ask questions, to deal with specific areas of difficulty and to have better self-esteem when they discover they can learn and master the challenges of reading, writing, and math. Nothing is more fulfilling as a teacher than to see a happy face on a child who has discovered the joy of learning.
