I believe that learning and success are possible for all children, but they are the result of time and patience. I feel high expectations are important, yet I'm careful not to frustrate the lower achievers. If a teacher encourages learning and makes it worthwhile, I believe that the learning process will flourish. Children learn in different ways. Because all children deserve an equal chance to learn , it's my responsibility to meet these learning styles to the best of my ability. This is done by presenting material in a variety of ways, as well as incorporating hands-on experiences as much as possible. I think children will retain material better if they are able to experience it.

I have experience teaching students with many different reading processing difficulties. Both in my classroom and in my own tutoring business. I have helped many students become better reader.
