A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching and working with children and adults. My first experience in education was with children's music classes, and have since enjoyed the opportunity to teach adults at the community college level. I would describe my style as adaptive. In my experience every child and adult requires somewhat of a different approach. After careful evaluation, a course is developed to meet the students needs. With that said, no matter what approach is taken, above all else I know that practice and a solid understanding of the subject's terms is the first key to successful learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a Fayetteville State University undergraduate, I did a lot of volunteer work with high school student. I also worked in the school's computer lab assisting students with classwork and homework. I have tutored students for the SATs. My specific field is English but I can also tutor in Spanish. I have an extensive amount of knowledge in grammar and composition as well as anything in the literature field.
My passion since I was 5 years old has always been teaching. I used to play teacher with my sisters and give themm stickers for job well done. I feel students will respect you and appreciate you if you relate to them. Not necessarily reduce yourself to their level but treat them like young adults. There have been many teachers throughout my career as a student that have greatly motivated me to succeed and I genuinely want to do the same for others.
