I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th- 9th grades. I was a Title I Reading teacher for 3 years, working with struggling readers. I later went on to teacher 1st and 2nd grades self-contained. During those years, I offered tutoring during the summer to students ranging from 1st grade to 11th grade. I am a high school senior in the AP/Honors program at Warner Robins High School. I have two little sisters who I have tutored since they began school. On average, they have scored higher on tests when I have helped, particularly in the area of social studies. I have also helped multiple students at my school. The average that they score on a test is typically ten points higher than when they study by themselves and, in some cases, twenty points if the student does not study at all. The results are typically better in social studies, the subject which I am most proficient in, but all subjects tend to shoe significant improvement. I am hands on.
