Experience Summary
As a Georgia Southwestern State University Graduate, I was able to obtain many opportunities to work with students of different grade levels and developmental levels. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and have experience with many different grade levels. I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 2nd grade students during student teaching. I also had the opportunity to tutor two elementary students during a summer program through Georgia Southwestern. I know I have the skills needed to be an excellent tutor.
Teaching Style
I love everything about the teaching profession. I feel it is a very rewarding occupation. I believe that each and every student has the ability to learn, but not all students learn everything in the same way. It is my job as a teacher to find as way that works best for each student. I use the scaffolding method when teaching. I like to begin by giving the students a lot of guidance and slowly releasing them to learn the subject at their own pace. As an educator, my main goal is to teach at a level each and every student will understand. I will challenge the students to be the best they can be.
