I believe every student can succeed in their courses. Therefore, I follow a different approach to teaching the subject from multiple perspectives not just one standard way of learning.
I have had over 3 years of tutoring students in Algebra as well as science. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta where I graduated with honors from LSCS. I enjoy helping students to succeed in their courses. However, most teachers provide just one standard way of learning. I do not believe this is the way that students should be taught. I would describe myself as a very patient and understanding person. I always make sure that the student understand the concept and is comfortable with the explanations given to him/her before continuing with the problem. Being successful in tutoring, is realizing that the student is able to complete a problem on his/her own without my help.
I earned two bachelors degrees from LSU: one in Mathematics and one in Computer Sciences. But I would be more interested in tutoring FRENCH. I am a native FRENCH speaker and I've been in the country for over 20 years. I go back to France every summer to visit my family and would like to share my experience and teach the languague to students in the Spring, TX area.
