I believe in the value of one-on-one tutoring, and I actively listen to the student’s questions and responses to uncover any barriers to the understanding of a problem. I depend upon regular review at the beginning of each session to both assess the student’s progress and grade my own effectiveness as a tutor and mentor. I also employ real-life examples to aid in understanding as I have found that most young people learn and retain far more when practical applications are used to reinforce theory and practice. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very patient individual and have been described by others as "down to earth, easy-going and highly energetic". I believe that teachers should be the highest paid profession in the world simply because they mold the minds of our future generation. I strongly believe that kids tend to do better in subjects where they like the teacher; the teacher makes the class fun and stimulating and can captivate their young minds. I do love working with kids and each one learns at a unique pace and would require a different technique. It would be my pleasure to assist a child academically.
