A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. As for myself, I am definitely a visual learner, so I feel that visual aids are important. I am a big fan of hand outs in full color. You will often find me drawing a picture on the board. After earning my BS in Elementary Education at Western Carolina, I became a tutor, part time assistant in Jackson County Schools (as an assistant in two ESL classrooms-one at a high school level and in an elementary/middle school classroom) and as a Lowes Sales Associate part time.
