While at Hampton University, I obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry and maintained a 3.96 GPA. I have taken math courses in pre-calculus I&II, calculus I,II,&III, and Statistics. I am a highly qualified and passionate educator and have been teaching children in grades K-8 for the past six years. Home schooling my sons and substitute teaching grades K-5 has given me a tremendous amount of instructional experience. I originally entered the Teacher Certification program at Fayetteville State University and later changed my major to Psychology when I became aware of the mounting number of children with special needs and learning disabilities in classrooms.
