A Little Bit About Me...

I began my French studies in my first year at Belmont and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to study the language primarily. After my first trip to France in the summer of 2007, my skills in the language took off, as did my passion for learning. I began tutoring other student athletes and other students at my university who studied French. After I graduated, I gave French lessons to two small children on a weekly basis. I have continued to study the language independently, and I founded a small conversation group that meets weekly.
Aside from my French degree and tutoring experience, I also received a minor in Elementary Education. A Little Bit About Me...

My father had a piano rebuilding shop and I worked for him begining at age 12, in every aspect of piano rebuilding, regulating and tuning. Do I need to say more? Over 40 years of working on pianos is more than most piano tuners have. I don't use tuning machines, God already gave me 2 on each side of my head that work much better. I could write a long paragraph of blah blah trying to impress you but over 40 years of pianos says it all.
I have been a professional musician since 1978, teaching other musicians theory, performance etc. What can I say? I grew up in a music store! I've taught guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums and piano technology. Most of my students are now professional musicians. I don't use any techniques out of any book, each person is different and their needs are also.

For the majority of my life, I have been working with and or around early elementary age children. I feel that I am best suited for this age group, as I enjoy watching them learn/discover new things.
