As an mathematics tutor I have had the pleasure of tutoring my college peers. I have worked with Hawks Learning System Program, which is an College Algebra Software thats is used by the mathematics professors at Alcorn State University. Within completing my degree I have taken higher level mathematics courses such as Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Abstract Algebra, Foundations of Mathematics, History of Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Probability, Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, and Statistics I just to name a few. I'm very much driven to excel in high levels of education. I have earned my bachelor degree, BS in General Studies, and currently working on my masters degree, MBA in Public Administration. I have many skills that includes typing, office work, math, term papers, and some Spanish. With the last ten years I have tutored family members and friends because I thrive to see others succeed and plan to open my own tutoring center once my degree are complete. Determining the learning styles of individual students is important to me. I adjust and accomodate my approach based on how students respond and learn. I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have much experience in math, science, and english with my past two degrees. I have tutored students in math, english, and science. I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition.
