I tutored fellow students regularly in Spanish, French, and German all 4 years of college, as I studied in Europe and Mexico, and was placed in advanced college levels my first semester in college. In the garment industry I used Spanish daily with subcontractors. In the hospitality industry I was used as a greeter for foreign language conventions, and to interpret foreign language E-mails. I spent 6 weeks as a 3rd grade Spanish student teacher in college, and the students were sad I was leaving-they loved Spanish while I was there. I graduated from my Master´s at West Virginia University in May 2010. Spanish Literature is my main area of concentration and Linguistics is my second area of concentration. I have always wanted to be a teacher, I couldn't really see myself doing anything else. I try to make learning and inclusive experience for all children. I feel that sometimes children's different learning styles get overlooked and then as a community we have a child that is left feeling that they are unworthy.
