Experience Summary
As a full time student and a full time employee of the General Electric Company I did not have the time to goof around. I had to be driven and utilize my time to accomplsh the most amount in the least amount of time. Therefore I have been able to use my experience to help students learn quickly and easily. I have spent time with students of all ages and have learned how to make connections with them. As a substitute teacher I have taught in every subject in every grade level. However, English is where I am strongest.
Teaching Style
I have always wanted to be a teacher, I couldn't really see myself doing anything else. I try to make learning and inclusive experience for all children. I feel that sometimes children's different learning styles get overlooked and then as a community we have a child that is left feeling that they are unworthy. My goal is to help all children learn at their pace and at their skill level, not at some standard set by the state. I want the children I spend time with to feel good about their learning experience and to enjoy themselves.
