I love to work with individual students to find out where their confusion lies. From there, we rebuild understanding to enable them to move forward. I strongly feel that failures in learning happen in many ways, and it's important to take the time to assist the student in correcting it and moving on, instead of applying a label and giving up! I've had struggles myself, and never consider someone who doesn't "get it" as an inferior type of person. I am a credentialed teacher currently working with at-risk students.
