I prefer a hands-on approach, especially with science and math. I believe an education is more than memorizing definitions but understanding and being able to apply concepts broadly. I have found children grasp a concept better when they are allowed to explore concrete applications instead of studying abstract ideas. A typical tutoring session would include a review of classroom material, an experiment or observation applying that information, and homework formatted to the style his or her teacher's testing style. Lets make math easy and Fun!

I like to break math down in a simple way at times using life analagies to get the student to understand and relate better to the subject matter.
I have tutored friens, family, and classmates. I have always done well in math classes in elementary, middle school, high school, and college. Throughout all of those levels of school, I usually was the first or second person to finish an examination. I really like math alot because it is simple and to the point.
