Musical is one of my top subjects! I studied music composition in school. If music theory or music history is giving you fits, I can explain it to you so that you can understand it.

I teach mostly by rote. So, if you want an interactive lab, then I'm your man. Language is alive and meant to be spoken, not droned on about in a lecture.
I am not a fancy certified teacher. I don't speak Castilian Spanish, and I don't pretend that the Spanish that I speak is as formal as they speak in Madrid. But I am fluent, and I do know the language. I am new to the field of teaching, and trying to help others while I make a name for myself. I don't promise to make you fluent in Spanish overnight, but with interest and participation from you, I will teach you the Spanish that you need to accomplish your goals.

I am very passionate about teaching children. I am patient but firm, and focus on encouraging and building confidence. I am excellent at breaking down difficult concepts in a way that children can easily grasp. I do not approach teaching in a manner that pursues only a rise in grades or grade levels; I seek to impart long-term skills and a love of learning. I love working with children and helping them succeed.
